Nigerian Women Association Maryland Metro Inc. (NWAMM) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to creating meaningful change in the Baltimore, MD community and beyond. Since its founding in May 2014, NWAMM has developed a comprehensive portfolio of programs and initiatives designed to serve Nigerian and Nigerian-American women while addressing critical community needs. The organization specializes in youth capacity building, economic sustainability programs, and community development initiatives that empower underserved populations across Maryland, Washington DC, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. NWAMM's service offerings include advocacy programs, empowerment workshops, poverty alleviation initiatives, community health programs, and cultural enrichment activities. The organization facilitates information sharing through workshop delivery and collaborative partnerships with government agencies, embassies, immigration services, health departments, social services, and educational institutions.
